The fisheries management fee must be paid if you are aged between 18 and 69 and fish with a single rod and lure, use fixed gear, or catch crayfish. An exception is made for anglers who will have reached the age of 65 by 31 December 2023.

PRICES FOR FISHING LICENCES ON THE TENO RIVER IN 2026

Fishing licence for other species: 20 euros per day

• Fishing licence for other species for under-18s (for 16–18-year-olds fishing independently) 10 euros per day

• Fishing permit for other species under the special fishing permit quota: 5 euros per day, subject to a maximum total of 40 euros per fishing season.

• One or more children's licences may be attached to any category of fishing licence (for children under 18 fishing accompanied by an adult)

• Local residents under the age of 18 (aged 16–18) are entitled to their own free fishing licence.

Children under the age of 16 are allowed to fish with flies and lures.
